Rear axle bearing option?

I bought some rear outer bearings for my D 44 at NAPA and they were the upgrade ones..

Here is a pic of the same ones on ebay.

They are not like the tapered ones on the axle now, is this ok?? to use, and is it better??

 

i may be wrong but from what i can see in the picture they look like the ones that go in a flanged axel model 44. the tapered axles do not come with the lock ring that presses on. but then again the bearing may be the same.

that set is for the flanged axle, not tapered

I brought them back and they said they were right

I made them look at my shop manule.

Turns out they were boxed wrong
