need a measurement please.

    what is the distance between the spring perches on the rear dana 44 of the early cj's? i have a project im working on that needs this measurement thanks for any and all help..

    if that is correct, how much distance is there between the perch and the backing plate?

    i got roughly 7 inches from perch edge to flange, since backing plate has shims and such. i say roughly cause its hard to get the tape in there around the leaf springs and my brake lines.

    thanks. thats pretty much all i needed was a rough estimate. so moving the perches out 5 inches on each side shouldn't really effect anything if the shafts are pulled.
