    Good question... My coil is internal resistor IIRC

    You're not supposed to use a ballast resistor with a Pertronix, it needs the full 12v to work properly. If you liked it with only ~8 volts going to it, you'll absolutely LOVE it with 12 volts! :)

    I got it running again i changed the plugs cap and rotor and fiddled around with it. But its still burning the cap and rotor. Im going to email petronix and see what they have to say about it
