Is that a Dana 41 in the rear or a FF conversion with drive flanges?

Radiator supports. You will find slots on the bottom of each side of the radiator. If you have the stock radiator.

    Why? I don't know.

im pretty sure it had the full float conversion, (dana 44) but ill look into it more, the m38a1 actually has a radiator on a hinge so it can be folded down for working on, its pretty neat.

the radiator supports are so you can pull everything together and not have to unhook the hoses.

107.25" wb the way it sits right now, might lower the ride height a tad.. But its pretty close. Should have the suspension all squared away by next weekend, we'll see..

its very wide. Cant really do a ton of suspension though till i pull the engine and t-case+ tranny, steering, brake booster and everything else out of the xj to get my front coils and rear leafs..

those are 33x13's on 16" rims.. Going to run it like that for now, they have a lot of tread left then maby ill run 35's-37's
