2A Hood latches

    Mine has 4 of them on it and I never really thought about it till now, but it seems like all the ones I see just have 2 at the front of the hood. Is this something someone has added over the years or could it be stock???

    Added by a PO. That was a common mod to cure the rear corners of the hood from wanting to flap in the breeze....

    and the rear hinges keep th hood down so the jeep is boyant in deep mud puddles ;)

    I added them to the 3B. They definitely help stop it from squeaking, they'll do that at any speed. :)

    Its fun when you forget to latch them and the hood flies up at 40 when you hit a bump :) :)

    i have a 1974-cj5 and do you thing the flat fenders will work off of a cj2a????? i have found some for a good deal...
