Finding DOM?

    A gentleman told me that you can tell by the numbers on the tranny..I have yet to figure it out....I am with you , curious george !!!

    unfortunately, our vin project only covers through 71 because the vins changed in 72 and there are vin decoder's available for them. if you do not have your original dash build date sticker, look for other jeeps from the same year and use their serial numbers and build dates to home in on yours. that's what got the vin project started.

    I am interested in getting a 72+ VIN Project going. Like is there anyway to find out any further info from the VIN alone? I do not have a firewall tag on mine but would love to know what the original color was, etc.
