That's a Paxton supercharger on the passenger side. Looks like a big aluminum can with a pulley. Nickmil

 

A centrifigal supercharger would not be that difficult. The roots supercharger that you have is basically a nightmare and I won't say impossible but...your gettin there. Add the distributorless ignition system and now your talking about crank sensor, camshaft sensor, mass airflow sensor, computer, etc. Even without the distributorless ignition you would want more than even an HEI would provide as far as spark goes.

I've built a few blown motors and they have their special needs. You have more air so you need more fuel and more spark but less timing and perhaps less compression. Of course you wouldn't be talking about much boost with the V-6. Not like a 302 Ford with 19lbs of intercooled boost that'll smoke the tires at 100MPH.:twisted:

Surprised to see this thread come back, I am going to use the 3800 mulitport intake and heads until I figure out how to clear the chargers pulley, maybe a spacer or redneck intercooler, or go DIS. Just have to fork out the dough for a megasquirt and an inline fuel pump and my winter project will begin.
