Hey guys I did a forum search but could not find anything on this...

    http://www.quadratec.com/products/13027_00.htm

I'm guessing this will work on my year? Anyone else have one? How does it compare to using the windshield? :?

    TIA

I've seen it on a YJ. It worked well.

They work quite well. I've got one for the '6 when I get to that point. You'll need one for a '71 or older or you'll have to cut down the the support rods that mount to the hood as the '72 and newer hoods are longer. Jim Piatt, and independent magazine writer, and first winner of the "Top Truck Challenge" came up with the idea and started building them years ago. I believe he is the one still building them. The earliest Quadratec CARRIES is for '72-83. Just cause they don't carry it don't mean it ain't made. Jim Piatt makes them for flat-fender's, early CJ's, etc. or at least used to. Rich Imholt has one on his 3b. You can contact him here: http://www.hoodlift.com/contact.html
By the way, I built the front dana 44 and set up his gears and air locker in the front of that Red CJ-7.
