New Money Pit or Jeep owner !!

    Just bought a 66 Tux Park, I"ve wanted a jeep for years but kids... I'm attempting to replace brakes, passanger side drum won't come off, Ive read about a wonderfull drum puller tool. Where can I get one ? The one I borrowed from local parts store won't pull this off, looking for dynamite(looking for dynamite) . Can you tell I'm new, love the site still learning but having a blast. Thanks for any help. Doug

    Welcome from Alabama. Have you looked to see if the wheel studs are swaged over against the drum????

    i worked for 2 days stumped until i figured out that the studs were swaged.:oops: fortunately i hadn't really turned to using my BFH or breaker bar..:rofl:

    oh ... and welcome from iowa! you'll learn a lot from this site and the folks here. don't be afraid to ask questions. we've all been there.

    Thanks for all the reply's, after a long night of trying took the axle to 820 jeep in Ft. Worth. He had the puller from H__l, wonderful tool, had it of in three wacks w/BFH. After inspection I decided to leave this to the pros for a complete overhaul. Guess I'll pay for my education again, wish these things where electric, I can work on that. Thanks again for all the suggestions, I'm sure I'll have more questions as time goes by.
