Did some work on the jeep this weekend, & took the venting windshield off to begin doing some work on in the next few weeks. Ron, let me know what you find out about the gasket that goes around the framed glass, as the remaining gasket on mine is different from what a normal winshield has. Here's some pics of the windshield & hardware.

How much are this things going for now with all the parts?

It's going to be a long time before I'm restoring my windshield, so I'll let you lead the charge in the search for a source. Mine doesn't have that bar down the center of the glass. Is that 2-piece glass? Mine is one solid piece.

Who has that other one here, is it Scott? Did you rebuild yours, and where did you get parts/gaskets/etc.?

I have one of these WS frames that was on my '56 when I bought it. It's really rough though and I have been considering letting it go. Sounds like they are becoming more popular. Maybe I should hang onto it and try a resto. I'll post a pic of mine to get some feedback on this jewel. BTW, awsome trade......:) :)

If you've got one you should by all means restore it, IMHO. Even if you don't want to keep it, if it's all rebuilt and cherry you should be able to get a good buck for it. I don't know what they're worth, and I'm not sure I want to know. I'm planning on keeping mine and using it, and I don't need the temptation.
