The dilemma continues............. I've still not been able to make up my mind. I currently have 31x10.50x15's on my Jeep. Here's a pic:

I want to go with a bigger tire, either 33x10.50x15 or 34x9.50x15. I want to stick with something skinny since all I really have here is mud. You can see in the pic that I've got a lot of clearance. I actually have more than it looks like since the fender flares hang down a couple inches. I have a Chevy V8 and 4.89's so power isn't an issue. So, what all would you put on this Jeep if it was yours?

    What are your brakes like?

I'm debating the same thing for mine.

would go with the 34", but would upgrade the rear axle shafts to 19 spline if it hasn't been done already.

Gotta keep the flares...all the little holes would look bad. (They were already on there when I got the Jeep). She's already got a 19 spline rearend. I put 11" brakes on the front...they'll put you through the windshield if you're not careful. :)
Sparky, if you can add a poll somehow, go ahead and do it!

I can't, dunno if you can go back and add one after you started the post but if you start a new thread with a poll in it I'll merge the topics for you.

I had 34x9.50 swampers they worked well everywhere but daily driver duty so this time I went with 33x10.50 bfg mt's the radials are almost as good the bias off road and better everywhere else. The off road traction of the swampers was amazing.

Would you guys seriously take the time to fill and paint all those holes if they were on your Jeep?

Easy to say, but what a pain the you know what...I sure wasn't going to take that on.

Change out to the plastic flares...they don't hang down nearly as much and a whole heckuva lot easier than filling 30 little holes.
