Original Horn

    I think the first wav file of the horn from a 53 CJ-3B sounds the closest, though I think it should sound a little bit deeper, but maybe it sounds the way it is due to the way in which it was recorded.

    If your talking about the flat disc style horn, it is a Sparton model 9A. Except for the mounting bracket it is almost identical to a 1929 to 1953 Harley Davidson, Big Twin horn. Some old Indians also used this horn. They each had their own style of cover on them. OK I know that they are almost impossible to find also, but there are repros out there that sound the same as the old ones did. So maybe this is another option.

    I installed one of those JC Whitney "BEEP BEEP" horns last weekend. It sounds pretty unique, I like it. The pitch is a little too high to sound like the original.
