rear end of the jeep is changing big time

    found this old pic of the jeep about 3 yrs ago, it's really the best pic i have for a "before" pic. never seem to take pictures of the back for some reason.

    anyway, i am pretty much done with the back end so i wanted to close this thread with a couple pics of the new setup.

    FWIW I have the repro NACO lights on the back of the flattie, and I've been toying with the idea of putting replacement LED "bulbs" inside the original housings. Keep the "old school" look, while adding a useful safety update. The only thing stopping me is I haven't found anyplace that sells a replacement LED "bulb" for an 1157 that isn't red or amber. I want to keep my front turn signals white.

    The lights I used on the YJ had a rubber grommet. I added side LED lights so I could be seen better on the highway.
