My '49 2wd

This is the one that started me down the Willys rabbit hole. Bought in here on the Washington coast about 5 years ago. Replaced the funky mag wheels with 16" Willys steelies and traded the radials for NDTs. I'm amazed at how much better it handles with the NDTs. Last year we took it to our place in Idaho since the salt air here at the coast was not good for it.

L134, T90 3 speed, Timken rear axle. Seat is from a late 80s/early 90s Toyota pickup.This truck is probably a Willys salad piece-together. Has a dropped I beam front axle but the trans tunnel has plates for 4WD & PTO levers. I installed access doors for under seat tool boxes as the Toyota seat won't flip up to allow access to the boxes thru the top.

Thanx! It is a fun albeit sloooow rig! We're about 6 miles outside of Weiser, ID so it's perfect for runsnto town & comes in handy around the property.

 

Nice truck! An old buddy and college mate of mine is in the Weiser area. Name is Ron Low. Specializes in drivable as opposed to show classic cars but has done a lot of Jeep stuff. If you ever need help with car stuff just ask around. He does Harley stuff too.
