That's great as I am still stuck in the 18 volt world. Drills, sawzall and work light. Battery prices kill me. I remember wearing out lots of Makita 9V drills.
I did pick up an Astro air saw. That thing is sweet.

Re: battery prices... after a very scary explosion and fire with an 18v Li-ion cordless drill, I went back to Ni-Cads. The cost of Ni-cads has crashed, I paid just $8 per pack!

18V what? I have the Milwaukee 18V system and absolutely no bitches about it, brushless or otherwise. Zero problems. I have yet to have a battery go dead over about a dozen years. No way I'll go back to Ni-Cads, or for that matter, Makita 9V.

Funny how meanings get misconstrued. I mentioned 20V merely as a way to ID the tool, not as any sort of endorsement other than it is a well designed product.
That said, I got sucked into (no pun intended) the DeWalt 20V system a few years ago when they offered a drill, charger, two batteries, and a "convenient carry bag" that I never use, all for $100.
So, not wanting to manage two or more battery formats, it's DeWalt all the way. Clever marketing on their part.

And don't say I didn't warn you of the hijack!

You guys already solved my problem so use this thread for whatever you want. As the new guy, I need to make sure to not hijack threads. You guys with the big brains can do whatever you want!

I have a buddy who lost his arms and legs a few years ago and I go down south to fix things every few months. I have some tools stashed down there, but that vacuum always makes the trip! Only thing it needs is a bottle opener.
