    Hey all,
I was changing out my transmission mount and torque arm bushing to day and ended up having to reuse the old mount. When I put the urethane mount in it forced the transmission/transfer case up and the engine fan down into the shroud. I ordered a rubber mount so hopefully it will work. Has anyone run into this?

This is common with generic poly mounts. They say they will fit because the bolt pattern is compatible but they mostly are built for another application. Without a picture it’s hard to say but I’d bet the one you have is more for a GM transmission application which seems a common denominator. They are also taller than most Jeep applications.

That seems to be the problem with "universal" fit. Lesson learned.

Cut it down with an 80 grit disc on an angle grinder if available. Keep your fingers out of the way.:D
