Ok.. I tried searching and could not find the answer.

What is the bulb for the tail light, passenger side.

My light was not working and after a bit of investigation it turns out I had the wrong bulb.

The one I had had only one connection as opposed to two….

    Thanks!!!

The single-contact 12V bulb is a 1156. The 1157 has offset bayonet lugs and can only go into the socket one way. The 1156 can go in two ways, each rotated half a full turn. An 1156 should not go into the 1157 socket without forcing, and vice-versa.

There's also an 1156A which is an amber colored bulb.

Don't know what the 6V equivalent of an 1156 is. Maybe Pete does.
