There's 4 connections on the fuel pump on my Dauntless engine. The connection from the fuel tank is obvious - it has a rubber hose on it with a fitting to connect to the outboard motor tank that was used to drive the donor vehicle around the yard. The connection to the carb was obvious too, since it was still connected.

What are the other two? The hoses run to hard lines that go up over the top of the motor and towards the passenger side - where they turn to plastic hose. Is this emmissions stuff?

Evap canister. Junk the pump and buy one for a Canadian or marine application. That gets rid of the return line too. If you want to keep the return line, get a fuel pump for an older Dauntless

I'd keep the return line as it reduces the vapor lock problems many of the Dauntless's had. Like Chuck said, you can get rid of the evap canister one if you don't have to deal with DEQ (emissions testing).

Thanks guys. I'm going to ignore them for now and get a new pump once the rest of the Jeep is done and running. Heck... I might just ignore forever if they don't cause any probelms.
