Drill out the other two rivets, 1 at a time, replace the rivets with Phillips head sheat metal screws, like the single one you have!

Keys5a has the best advice. Remove the glass and fix the metal.

His glass is crimped into the housing with no gasket, so pretty risky to remove it.

A hammer will remove it pretty quickly, replacements are available at you nearest glass shop :)

Yes but... Seven Years Bad Luck. Although a good attorney could probably get you off with three years.

Don't want bad luck on this one....only have waist belts and these jeep engineers installed a dash "pad" instead of AIRBAGS, WTF how did my jeep miss the Airbag install line!

Took the jeep on the highway today for first time over 40mph. Not at all a white knuckle experience like I had anticipated it to be. No death wobble (and I have no alignment or shims in the front). No crazy steering wheel play. Went for the most part straight. But think 60 was about as fast as I wanted to take things for a first time shake down run at Real speeds. Had visions of bolts flying off and springs/wheels/axles going their own way! Went to a stereo shop to talk about how the tunes will be. Of course low "profile", no head unit, and good sound. Guy loved the jeep but laughed when I said we are not cutting any holes in anything! Had to repeat myself with a more straight face... "No seriously we are not cutting holes in things". We have a good plan on things ahead for that part of the project. Of course both side mirrors went with the wind during the ride and I saw pavement for most of the ride... I have the mirrors on my list for the weekend. I think I'm going to start with Epoxy, simple and not too destructive. Then move on to more invasive options if that doesn't work.

I installed a Bluetooth stereo in the glovebox and some small outdoor waterproof speakers under the dash with two sided tape. No holes and the music is plenty loud. I typically only play music from my phone and the Bluetooth automatically connects, so having the stereo in the glovebox isn’t an issue.
