I have been waiting on headers from summit racing for several weeks now. No delivery in sight. They have headers in stck for a 72 and up cj5 with a chevy v8 in it, but mine is a 67 so of course that means they dont have mine. My question is can anytone think of why the newer headers for a 72 with a 350 chevy swap wouldnt fit my jeep. they are all fenderwell exit headers, And the frame rails are the same in the front end. Any clue guys? There is only so much I can do with my spare time waiting on headers to be delivered. My wifes fear is that if they dont arrive soon I will find something else expensive to do to the jeep.

'72 and up has a longer hood and front fenders, since AMC stretched the body to fit their inline 6. I'd say find someone else who has the correct headers in stock. I always try Jeg's before Summit, they are almost always cheaper for the same item!

The headers will probably work but you may have to "massage" the inner fenders as they will probably hit. You may find you might have to shorten the headers in the collector area to fit a muffler and tail pipe/turndown if front of the tire. It depends on who's headers they are and how long they are.
