In regards to the T/C E-Brake return spring, where does it contect to? It attaches to the clip (clevis and arm area), but from there were does it hook up to? The FSM shows a nice pic of the e-brake set up, but there is not indication as to where that spring is to connect. Any answers are appreciated.

I had forgotten where mine was attatched, so I used a piece of brazing rod, and made a "link" that goes up to the crossmember....... Looks and works fine....

I didn't want it to rust, so I went all out! It actually does look fine. It's been there for 3 or so years....

Thanks for the info. I figured I'd have to fab something. So, all the way back to the closest crossmember. I'll make it work.

as i remember thats where mine went to before i took everything off. it had a ~8" spring with a really long end, similar to the coat hanger/ brazing rod setup.

Its done, did the coat hanger attached to spring thing for now. I'm gonna have to get a new cable anyway as the one I have is bretty gummed up, so I'll have time to do something more perminent later. But the good news is that the brake works pretty well, surprise, surprise.

Put the Jeep at the end of the drive way (more incline), set the brake and pushed on the Jeep and it wouldn't budge (I know what you're thinking, yes it was out of gear 8) ).
