I'm sure this has been covered before but I am having a hard time finding it, I'm new to the page please forgive me, but I am looking for info on converting my 66 cj6 to power steering and power brakes, it has the v6 engine and runs very good but the brakes and manual steering leave a lot to be desired.

I am looking for just a starting point of what parts I should start looking for, and any advice anyone might have

Not to be rude but both subjects have been covered many times. I hope Tim will come up with the link to the old time machine where you can access the information from the old site. Several threads going on right now that apply to your questions. Search grasshopper... I believe even a simple Google search will tell you what you want to know.

My Jeep steered like an old Mac truck. Just make sure that all of you steering components are in good shape, especially the king pin bearings. They seem to be often overlooked. I couldn't even twist my steering knuckles by hand with everything else disconnected. I'd just hate to see anyone thinking they need power steering when there is a mechanical problem that is causing an issue. Good luck.

Brakes? I never use 'em, they only slow you down.
