Hello. I recently acquired a hard top and doors. The top needs work but I believe it will turn out nicely when it is restored. Besides a few panes of glass the only hardware it needs are the lower and upper door hinges. From what I can figure out the lower ones are the same that work on most CJs. The upper ones are being a bit more tricky to track down. Can you guys confirm that these are the ones I need for my metal doors? They are the doors that the uppers hinges on the windshield frame.

A special thanks and shout out to Jeephistorain on here for providing me with the Top and doors. He is a wealth of knowledge about these jeeps and seems to be a great person in general.

The link you provided is the upper 1/2 of the windshield hinge, the part that goes into the windshield frame. It mates with the lower 1/2 of the windshield hinge that mounts on the body. This allows the windshield frame to fold down.
This is not a door hinge like you are looking for.

As Mark says, the part you posted is not a hard top part.

Extra hinges for hard top doors are very nearly unobtainable. I think you are better off fabricating what you need. Post up pictures of the top you have and maybe someone can post pics or drawings for you to go by.

Looks like the Myers/Orville hardware will work. Last complete set I saw went for a little over $300 on eBay.

I think some one here has the schematics that you could use to build a set off of those dimensions. If you cannot find it I'll fire up my old PC and get them off of there.

The lower hinges you posted above will work in a pinch but they aren't ideal.

The 4 bolt style that Meyers used is probably the ones you need to replicate. Also you'll need the trim for the doors or you'll have a big air gap. They are posted in the above link by focker. If you can bend steel, drill holes and weld you can make the hinges.

As far as I can tell this part is not a door hinge. It looks to be a windshield hinge. The long square part fits up inside the the side of the windshield. The side piece opf the wind shield is hollow so the part can fit in.. I know because mine brork at the weld and I had to take it apart to re-weld it..

Edit: Sorry zoomer didn't see your post..
