I just bought a Koenig Model 50 twin stick pto and its got a broken shaft (the shaft that has the flange for rear output and has the upper sprocket on it and the gear that gets coupled to the transfer case).

What are my options to fix this or am I screwed?

are there any members here that have one with a broken case that I could buy that shaft off of? do any of the other pto model numbers share that same upper shaft that I could say buy a rear only pto that is more plentiful and cheaper and rob the shaft for this broken model 50 shaft? are there any nos parts available for these ptos? does anyone have a parts breakdown for this pto where I could find a diagram and maybe part number for the broken stuff?

I haven't split the case yet to remove the shaft but I am assuming there is a splined and threaded section and a section for the sprocket so I don't know if its something feasible to have made on say a lathe?

    And help appreciated

Pull it apart and evaluate the damage first. I can't remember on the 50 but but most Koenig's have a bolt that holds the chain sprocket on the input drive and it's possible this simply has come loose. If you can post a pic we can probably tell if another input will work. I have a parts breakdown but I recently moved and it's packed away "somewhere".
