Herms Dual M/C Adjustment

    Just finished install of Herms Dual M/C kit with new brake lines on my 2A. Had to shorten M/C push rod, Anyone know how much freeplay should be in this push rod when it is hooked up? I shortened mine so that the push rod was at minimum length and had to actually force the push rod onto the brake pedal. I think I need more freeplay as I cannot get any fluid from the from front M/C port. Any suggestions as to what I have done wrong?

    1/8" free play between the rod and piston should be good. Might do a search about the Herm conversion. These types of issues are fairly common. If you don't have any free play you need to shorten the push rod some more.
