speedo and glove box door

    hi ,just went to ohio and got some parts ,dash with speedo with willys inscribed on it. was wondering what years they were on. also had a glovebox door with a c shaped slide on the right side . when you shut it ,it goes threw the bottom right of the cardboard glovebox is that normal and what year was it on thanks ed

    "Willys" speedo was pre-56, I think.

    Glove box is normal for all years that I know of.

    My '57 has the door with the catch described and my '59 did not. The '57 is bone stock, not sure if the '59 came that way or not. The '57 does not say Willys on the Speedo. '55 came that way and I seem to recall some '56's did and some did not. Might do a search on this as we've had lengthy discussions about both these subjects in the past.

    The glove box door on my 55 has the C shaped slide...

    The speedo looks like this. At some point they swapped the fuel and temp gauge positions....
