Does anyone know if the power steering pulley from an I6 will work on a 304? I cannot find a 304/360 pulley anywhere. Thanks.

I don't know the answer to that question but did you try any of the vendors listed in the "Where to find parts" sticky post at the top of this forum?

There must be a Wagoneer in a junkyard near you. Nearly all of them are 360s and have power steering.

If you can't find one locally, try Jake's http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showthread.php?t=118815

"They're located in Burnsville, NC about an hour from Asheville.
    Give them a call @ 828-675-0579."

Which pulley, pump, crank? Seems like the v8 ones are everywhere. Did you look on ebay? Wait, are you saying you actually have a intermediate six cylinder pulley?

..............Most of the pumps & pulley's cover a broad spectrum of vehicles & engines with different mounts......I would think shaft size is pretty consistent .........but the OD of the belt drive pulley surface may differ...
Call the people that do this for a living.................PSC 817-270-0102......AGR 817-626-9006 they should be able to help you.

I spoke to Paul at R&P 4 WD Parts today (listed in the where to find parts and the vendors section) and he said he has a V-8 setup. Not sure if just the pulley or the whole pump. I'll leave that to you to find out. They can be reached at 503-557-8911 9-5 PST. Or look in the vendors section for other contact info. Or do a web search for R&P 4 WD Parts Inc.

I added power steering to my 78 and Salvage Jeep in Statesboro, GA had pulleys and brackets in stock. They will ship them too. I originally bought a kit from carsteering.com and it was a DISASTER.

Hum, if both are saginaw pump, it's supposed to be the same shaft dimension, so pulley should be the same.

It's just a supposition, i needed last year to change the pulley over my ps pump (cj5 1975 amc 304), so i went to the local junkyard and ask for a pulley. I give me one from a Gm saginaw pump and it's was a perfect fit and align.
