    Can anyone help me find the best source for a new Windshield frame for the 65 CJ? Thanks

    You can buy new replacement ones, but the quality isn't very good.
    keep an eye out in your local CL, or post a want-to-buy ad in the classified section here.

    I have one thats in good shape.. in primer as well if interested... No glass

    I also have one I just removed to convert to bottom wipers. Glass is good u-channel is gone since I had a hardtop.
    For what its worth, I'd look for a bottom wiper windshield. I've owned mine for 28 years and I can finally drive it when its raining.

    Guys, this is getting dangerously close to becoming a classifieds ad. Please contact the op directly for stuff you have for sale ;)

    I agree about the bottom mount wiper w/s though. It makes a huge difference in visibility. Great upgrade if you arent going for a restoration.

    Thanks for the advice guys. I like the thought of the bottom wipers. What years would allow me to retain the profile so my hardtop would still work?
