Aluminum half cab

    I am currently talking to someone about a aluminum half cab for sale locally. he claims it is for a flatfender but when I told him Im wanting one for my cj5 he then started saying the top and doors would fit my cj5 but simply not using the extra for lack of better word "wings" that take up the extra space next to the windshield. Does anyone know if this is true or not? I have no idea. and the price of $500 sounds steep to me but this is the first one anywhere close ive seen. I have not yet seen it in pictures or person.

    Pictures will help but measurements are the only way for sure to know. There are some flatfender tops out there that look like they would work on a CJ5. Normal flatfender top won't work though.

    The doors will not work. The flatfender has a bend in the doorwell where the CJ-5 is flat. The shape of the windshield is different as is the length of the tub to the windshield. He's just trying to make a sale.

    I was thinking it may be one of the tops we've seen pictures of that has extension pieces that stick out and fill in the bend part of the body. I agree though he's probably just trying to make a sale.
