I say leave them as-is altho painting the bottom hinge is a cool idea.

 

Or this, color match windshield frame is a YJ frame and glass.
I am interested in finding a postal Jeep full rear door with the large "Jeep" embossed on the door. I'd cut out the tail gate filler for the full door access.

Yeah I love your Jeep Longandlow. I would cut the "Jeep" out of a tailgate, postal Jeeps are getting hard to find, unless you want to take it from a new style one. But just so you know I have the top off of one and I do not have the door, which means the guy I got it from still has a door that has no use now. He has an ebay shop for DJ's (Postal Jeeps)

In fact, would it be possible to get some more pics of your Jeep Long because your Jeep is very close to what I want to do.

Its currently being put back together, installing a fuel injected 2.5 ltr, AX5 and dana 300, hanging pedals, and got my power steering box on.

here is another combo that looks good

 

White tops make me think of an fj. I say if you paint the door, paint the whole thing color matched. And I'd paint the top black.
