Should I paint my doors?

    Finally got the body work done and got some paint on the 69. I'm toying with the idea of painting the lower part of the doors to match the body color. Any opinions?

    X2, shows off the curvy rump hump and fits well with the wheels.

    Nice looking JEEP.
    Might consider painting the lower hinge on the body side green.

    Perhaps a green pinstripe would tie the top to body? ​

    I agree that you should paint the body half of the lower hinge green, but leave the rest white.

    Another vote for leaving them white. Meyers just don't look right painted any other color.

    my top is painted flat black doors and all , with that said . I would paint bottom half of doors . seen it before

    I have a 69, original paint supposed to be spruce tip green, currently midnight blue, my Meyers is currently silver, going to be white when I am done.

    I say keep it all white.

    I'm glad I posted--it's always good to get input from fellow Jeepers, so I appreciate all your comments. I'll stay with the white doors, but I agree that the small detail of painting that lower door hinge green will make a big difference. I hadn't even thought of that. Thanks!

    I'm not sure that it would look better with the lower hinge painted body color. I think the upper hinge would look odd if it doesn't have a matching lower hinge.
