looks like it's on Rock Auto to me?

    Unless I'm mistaken?

The 1975 Buick Skylark application still works there. Probably at Autozone too, I'd guess.

What distributor did you come up with on RA? They list two for Buick Skyhawk, VIN code C--301693 or a Delco unit D20000.

right both of them are on there but with the years that they fit it would seem that they are even fire dizzy's. thanks

1975 was Odd Fire 231 only. 1977 was the changeover year where it could be OF/EF.

I'm still not sure what the confusion is?

NAPA also has HEIs for a 1975 Buick Skylark V6 model.

Autozone also lists one for a 1975 Buick Skylark 3.8L V6.

If Rock Auto has it listed for anything past 1977 then I'd look elsewhere and wouldn't trust them.

FWIW, the PN listed above, D20000, illustration is correct...

Remember i'm merely a chevy guy trying to make it in this jeep world. don't know a whole lot about these even and odd fire differences. i came here for the wealth of knowledge which is the only forum dedicated to jeeps. i appreciate all the help.

so up to 1977 is odd fire? thats what they are listing for those 2 part numbers. thanks

Please start your own thread. You'll get a better response and the tech will apply to your question alone. Do a search also. Someone was discussing CRT distributors just last week.

Last spring I bought an HEI odd fire distributor at a local Parts Plus for less than $100 complete. Took a bit and and some help from from a friend but got it running. May need to adjust the springs inside as mine likes to run warm due to the timimg not just right. Play with it, way better than the old stuff still.
