Dana 44 Lock Right installation.

    I replaced the wheel bearings, and had to completly remove the backing plates. Removing the flanges was a real hassle tho. I don't think they were ever removed.

    A little heat on the flange while applying pressure did the trick.

    How many times can the cross shaft retaining pin be reused? Mine isnt a roll pin is a tapered pin with a point?

    mine didnt come with a cross shaft. but yeah = locktight on the bolts.

    Can be re-used. Make sure you stake the hole it goes into so it cannot back out.
