Need a little help from you experts. I tore my clutch down a few weeks ago to replace it. What I didn't do was pay attention to the disk orientation. Now that I am ready to put things together, I am not sure which side of the disk faces the F 134 engine. The disk's inner splined shaft sticks out longer on one side than the other. Help would be appreciated. Only want to do this job once.

Someone here will know that, it is a too-common question.

It's been a few decades since I did a CJ, but IIRC sometimes they are (or were) stamped 'front.'

About 20 years for me too. I looked for a stamp but found nothing.

Was this the 8.5" or 9.25" clutch? I recently put a 9.25" clutch in my 3A and it had no markings or instructions. I found the answer in my manual.
