So I have come upon this issue with my T-14 and the accompanying cross-member. Apparently the holes that I had marked as the original ones from the old mount werent correct...does anyone have a photo reference for putting the transmission onto the cross member?? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks much! Also on your T-14 do you have a metal plate that sits between the transmission mount and the bottom of the transmission?? For some reason most of the stuff I have looks like it was cobbled together and none of it properly bolts up.

It might, I can't remember honestly. When I get back in a few hours I'll roll it out and find out.

i think i ended up with a funky combo of parts too. cant remember if I ended up using the adapter plate or not. i think it may have been too much. Instead Im pretty sure i just redrilled the frame to move the crossmember back

Yes there is a plate with a bent "step" in it. Plate bolts to transmission then the mount/insulator bolts to the plate.
I also will try and get a pic or two from underneath tomorrow.

Here are some pictures of the crossmember and the piece that goes between the crossmember and trans, it was rubber. Hope this helps, all I have for right now while I am at work. Also some pictures with trans still installed..

So what I have currently is that this plate sits between the transmission and the mount on the cross-member:

The cross-member and mount are in this pic as well:

I just for some reason for the life of me cannot get these parts together to properly mount the transmission up...

If I remember right . the plate with the three holes mount on transmission . with the large hole away from transmission and to the left , one bolt will go through plate by itself . next bolt will go through transmission mount into transmission . third bolt hole will go through transmission mount and will be a nut and bolt . then the two studs on bottom of mount should line up with the cross member . I don't have a T14 in jeep anymore . 1st picture shows bolt holes for mount

2nd picture shows imprint of transmission

Well I'm back home, not sure if you have figured your problem out but I felt like I should post this, figured it couldn't hurt..[IMG]

The way it looks the outer holes on the crossmember where you can see the shape of the rubber/metal piece hold it to the crossmember, then there is only 1 hole that lines up to go into transmission,
    [IMG]
Those were the only 3 bolts used on the bottom of mine, the 2 outer and 1 for mounting, then the side bracket..[IMG]

Hope I was able to help
