I'm a CJ5 owner, but bought a couple spare 225 V6 engine spares from a guy that had a couple Jeepsters. Along with the engines came this carb. There are no numbers on it, and looks nothing like what I have on my '67. Please let me know what it is.

Not a Jeep carb-looks like something off a foreign car. Toyota maybe?

That's the kind that would make for a door stop. Yup, kind of early Toyota'ish looking, that little sight glass/float level window looks familiar..

Thanks guys. If it's not Jeep I have no interest in it. Door stop it is.

Yup, Hitachi. Had one on my '74 and '78 Datsun Pickups. Pain in the butt to rebuild iirc.

Yup! dang throttle plate shaft was leaking bad on mine. I took him apart machined a couple of o ring grooves on the end of the shaft. Ran for quite a while after that. Sold it with 265,000 miles!

Thank you all for your input. Sold the carb on EBay for a wopping 5 bucks. lol. At least it went to someone that could maybe use it. Got no room for Datsun/Nissan parts in my garage. Need the room for more engines and transmissions in there. My wife wants to call that show Horders and have them come to my garage. lol Thanks again!
