Well I bought the top I paid $350 for it the door hinges had to be made. The best part of it all was my Jeep already had the holes in the body to bolt the top down so the only drilling was on the new panels. I used 18 gauge steel on the panels and bought the hinges from Grainger for $10.00 each.

It has the sliding windows I'm going to make two door windows out of lexan. I just can't find any pictures of how the back door mounts.

I'll try to get a picture tomorrow of the back door mounting on my 3B. It looks home made but I didn't see evidence of anything else having been there previously.

Yes, there are numerous places that sell it. You just have to measure where it goes to get the right size.

These hinges may be original, or may be home made. I don't know which.

I like that mine has a lip on the inside across the top with holes all the way across. Also is there supposed a air gap between the tailgate the rear door?

The bottom of the rear door is formed to cover the top roll of the tailgate.

I wonder if a set of late model passenger car trunk hinges would work. The kind that mount inside the trunk area and swing out?

Did we have to wash that Jeep before we took the pictures ?
Or was it just one of those Florida thunder poppers ?

The Kelly top on the CJ-5 just has a bolt on each side towards the top that it pivots on....acts as a hinge. Just like if you bolt it together, but left the bolts just loose enough for the middle to pivot.

It probably did have one across it. But some one welded door hinges in its place.
