    Hi all,

Can anyone point me to previous threads regarding these issues? Or give me a quick breakdown?

I need to drain and refill all drivetrain fluids and have no specs on what goes in each location and where and how to drain and fill.

I have a T-90 3-speed (pretty sure) no overdrive, and original front and rear differentials.

I know I know I need a service manual, but this site is my facebook and I prefer the chat and advice that goes along with the info!

    Thanks in advance...

Search is your friend, we just had this discussion a few days ago IIRC.....
Most recommend 80-90 or 85-90, also varies based on temps and other factors.

80-90 or 85-90 GL-4 for the transmission. GL-5 is fine for the transfercase and differentials. If you have limited slips friction modifier is a must for those.

Would friction modifier be ok if it was not a limited slip?

Won't hurt anything in the differentials but a waste of money.
Do not use it in the transmission.

And you do know that the fill and drain plugs are on the drivers side of the tranny, with the fill plug on the passenger side of the TC, right. The heading makes it look like you are seeking this information, also.

On the tranny the drain is directly below the forward boss on the side of the case and the fill plug is directly to the rear of the second boss.

Your T-90 shares the same gear oil with the transfer, so you use the GL-4 for both.
