Dang it. I just ruined the threads on my ball joint that connects the drag link to the tie rod. The drag is a one piece. Can the the joint be removed and replaced or do I need a whole new drag link?!

Pictures would be Great!....................I'm assuming your talking about the Tie Rod End? If it's not threaded on the end for replacement, that may already answer your question..........even if you could hold the ball tapered shaft from spinning, that is a hardened shaft and may not be able to be chased or re-threaded or cleaned up!

Yeah, knowing what setup you have would be helpful. Do you have the stock Dana 25/27 with Saginaw steering? Have Ross steering with the conversion? Dana 30 front with Saginaw steering using a stock drag link? If the latter then there is one end that is replaceable and one end that is part of the drag link. Unless an oddball conversion the tie rod end "should" be replaceable. Be aware there are right and left hand threaded tie rod ends. Not the tapered stud part but the part that threads into the drag link or adjusting sleeve.
