Another T/C question

    I'm going to have an OD on the D18 for my 66. Is it possible to mount a PTO also with the OD in place?

    Yes.

    You might be able to find a used one around, but you can get a new one from Herm the overdrive guy.

    He bought the rights and prints and tooling to make these things, so he is the only source for new.

    You basically take the rear housing off of the overdrive and bolt the adapter on to the rear of the overdrive.

    You'll have to modify PTO drive shaft lengths, but you probably figured that out already.

    Keep your eyes open on Willystech, E-bay, etc. Sometimes the adapter and drive gear come up used for a lot less money. You might contact Herm and find out if he has any used set ups around. He sometimes does. Nickmil.
