D30 & d44 wms?

    I tried searching, but I think the acronyms were too short... I'm thinking about swapping in a D30/44 combo out of a '72-ish CJ5 into my '46 CJ2A to get a higher gear ratio (numerically lower) and better brakes while keeping the same bolt pattern, but I want the WMS to be as close to stock as possible. From what I've read, the WMS on the D25/41 in my CJ2A is 50.5", but I can't seem to find the numbers for the CJ5 axle?

    Narrow trac is about 53 inch wms, narrow trac is 56 inch wms....while swaping axle did you think about a diskbreak conversion, bolt-on modification is you have front axle front from any jeep cj from 1976-1986.
