does your transfer case have this?

    pulled my t-90 trans to fix the leak yesterday (stock everything from a 1962 cj5). found that my transfercase has a vent on it. the vent attached to a hose that runs to the fire wall and has a simple little breather cap on it. does your transfercase have this? the vent is a brass fitting to which a 1/2" hose runs off of. it is on top of the transfer case toward the front near the shifters. see the pic below.

    Yep they all should have a vent access tap right there. Some just have the vent cap mounted on the case.

    mine on my 62 is mounted to the case.

    mine does too. i run hoses to the highest point in the engine compartment so when i do deep crossings it's all good.
