Mini Military Jeep

thanks guys . yea I thought about a winch but they really didnt have them in wwII did they? plus theres no provisions for electric output on the engine. I could make it pto driven i suppose. or even manual. Id rather have a anti tank gun to tow around but thats for a later date

 

WWII jeeps had a capstan winch as an option which doesn't have cable spun on drum and shaft is vertical only supported on one end. (Google, common in marine.) But that doesn't change your electrical issue! Very cool BTW.

 

They were also very uncommon, even towards the end of the war.

I was kinda half joking with my comment.

For a period correct miniature like that, I think a machine gun would be cool.

 

oh yea I know what the capsan winches look like. I wouldnt do one of those everyone whould ask "whats that?" Just doesnt look like any winch youre usto seeing. theres only like 2 inches there in front of the grille anyway lol. but it was a good thought
