CJ7 roll bar fit CJ6?

    Can this be done without reinventing the wheel? My 6 has nothing and I found a stock 7 bar on Craigslist here locally. It's not a cage but better than nothing. It may buy me time to save my penny's while giving piece of mind.

    My main thought is if it's too wide ,I'll just fab one. If its a length, height, forward and or wheel well attachment problem I can adapt it.

    Anyone know before I look further into this 7's bar?

    Width is the same. Height is close to the same.

    It will be a wheel well and floor attachment problem. Some CJ-7 bars go to the floor - that's what you want.

    Mid year 1978 the CJ's went from a wheel well mount to floor mounted rollbar.
