We'll, I installed the Pertronix Ignitor yesterday in my '67 F-head. It seems to start up alot easier and idle better without wanting to stall. I've only driven it around town and it seems to run smoother. It's a little hard to tell beacuse I'm a Florida native and was shivering like crazy in our 40 degree cold snap. Once it gets back up to 70 degress next week, I'll take it on a longer journey and maybe to "the pit" to see if it solved the gasping for power issues.

By "Florida native", I mean I am of the rare breed born in Florida. And, we can actually trace our family history back to the pre-civil war era. I think I'm the fifth-generation of good ol' boys born in Florida. Third generation to own a Jeep!

And I remember the great snow storm of '77. All 1/8th inch of it.
