igniton module

    did 1975 AMC CJ 5's have an ignition module?
    jeeps that did had it located by the battery or L inner fender?
    i can't find one on my jeep:shock:
    and the voltage at the + coil seems to be >12volts
    need to know as i'm installing a HEI distributor

    Yes. Right inner fender.

    You don't need an external module if you are using an HEI distributor. Its module is inside the distributor. One wire.

    one wire from where?
    would it be the one that goes into the ignition module?
    i still can't seem to find it

    My 75 with 304 has a Prestolite ignition with an external ignition module on the passenger side fender.. That was OEM..

    My 75 had one on pass. inner fender toward the rad. Note, I said had.
