Would you run this axle stub or replace?

So here's the deal, I'm in the process of changing the front axle shaft u-joints and one of the ears on one of the axle stubs is damaged due to some genius (me) :D removing the old u-joint or a previous genius (P.O.) installing them wrong. Either way the old joint had been in there for at least 16 years, and much longer I assume. So here are a few pics, do you guys think this is usable or should I spring for a new axle stub.

Does this one use the bearing retainer clips on the inside or outside? Can't really see if there is a ring groove on the outside.

This one uses the retainer clips on the inside. I'll see what I can do about the pics, there is a fair amount of scoring on the inside surface.

Going to guess if the snap ring surfaces are still good and the caps remain a bit of a press fit, it will go another 16 years.

Kind of what I was thinking. It only gets put into 4 wheel drive a few times a year, and it is always slow speed stuff.

Here are the same pics, just bigger. For some reason the post preview shows them large and the actual post show them small.

I would clean it up and check for inside roundness (mic) and if that is OK then I would go with it.
