Hi Guys, could you give me advice where I can purchase rubber body mounting kit for my 74 CJ5 or what the correct OEM part number I have to look for? I am really lost in the huge aftermarket mounting kits offer so thanks in advance anyone can help me! Regards from Hungary

Most aftermarket should say something like stock, or body lift if it's one or the other. I used a Daystar polyurethane body mount kit. Some folks have better luck with the rubber tube where you cut slice your own...something like the link below.

    http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Body-Parts-Roll-Cages-and-Jeep-Frames/24-Body-Mounting-Rubber-by-4Wheel-Drive-Hardware-for-Jeep.aspx?t_c=81&t_s=521&t_pt=101174&t_pn=MDR5000

One of the problems you might run across is that the aftermarket style aren't always the right quantity or size. I know that I used a couple of the old ones that I took off in order to make up for the difference. I think that's why the tube of rubber probably works out well. Oh...you also will probably not get the bolts, washers, etc. so you'll likely have to buy new.

The rubber tube works well, It is hard to get a straight cut though. Take your time and use a band saw if you can.
