Did all 1967 Commandos come with some sort of hub cap, and how do I know which one is factory correct for my Commando? My trim level appears to be the base model. (white painted bumpers, no frills) I believe my Commando wheels are original, but there were no hubcaps. I have mostly seen pictures of the white bumpered Commandos with the Kaiser "dog dish" hub caps, but I have also seen some with no hubcaps and just the white wheels. Do these wheels look original, and should they have hubcaps?

I'd like to say that wheel covers of some type are required because most places it's illegal to drive around town with your nuts showing  but I won't .
Can't say with 100% surety that dog dish caps were the standard cover if you didn't have such and such trim package but it would seem reasonable that they were. None of my info mentions what they came with or didn't come with as standard equipment from the factory. Full wheel covers came in three different styles and there was also an option that used the dog dish center with a trim ring.

Ours came with the 2piece cap. Some came with the big caps, some just the center cover. Dad cut the center out of ours for the Warn hubs. I have couple pics in the "oil bath sticker thread"
