Holiday Greetings folks! Steve here.I'm brand new to the site and have been an avid off-road enthusiast since the late '60s(did I mention that my nickname is Fossil?).It started with dirt bikes, morphed into VW buggies, then to a '67 CJ5,then back to dirt bikes and now I find myself the owner of a '70 Commando.I have liked these ever since they came out but never owned one til now.Mine is ROUGH! but the running gear is sound, which brings me to the questions I need help with:clutch linkage issues (which I understand is a very common problem),and replacement floor pans. What are the easiest and best options for the clutch linkage issues (convert to hydraulic, lose the cable and rig up a bellcrank, etc.) and are there a replacement floor pans shaped like the originals that actually replace the originals instead of the "lay-overs" that I see offered?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Steve

Welcome to the wonderful world of Jeepsters. A lot of people switch to hydraulic partly because it's hard to find quality cables any more, mostly because they're a better system. Not sure if there's much info here but if you head on over to the JCCA there's a ton of info and part numbers floating around.
As for floor pans, if it's not a resto where you're looking to make everything look factory it's pretty easy to fab your own.
